Marvelous Mexico Specialist

My number one reason that I love to book Mexico so much is because it is such a large country with various regions to explore, no matter what your fancy. 

On the west side of the country, the landscape is very lush and mountainous. The city of Puerto Vallarta offers old-world charm and oozes artistry and beauty from its ancient Catholic churches. It is also home to an international food festival, and has been the filming location for many movies. Explore the Malecon boardwalk along the beach, visit with local shop vendors, see giant sand sculptures, and pick up hand-painted tiles from local artisans. Cabo San Lucas is also on the west side of the country, and is known for its golden sand beaches and dark Pacific waters. It’s a great adventure area for boogie-boarding, ziplining, dune buggies, and even tequila tastings.

In my opinion, the best sunsets are also viewed from the western coast of Mexico: the entire sunset takes about twenty minutes and you can literally watch it happen as you enjoy a drink on the beach. 

White sand beaches and pretty blue water strike a completely different vibe on the eastern coast of Mexico. I highly recommend the Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Cozumel areas. There are a ton of both adults-only and family-friendly resorts that really help you elevate your vacation on a budget. Many well-known resorts in Mexico are all-inclusive, meaning that everything from your food to drinks, entertainment, and activities are all included on the property. However, I highly encourage you to get our during the daytime and explore the local cities as well. Go into town, do some shopping or dine at a local restaurant for a much more authentic Mexican vacation.

Cozumel is an island located just off the eastern coast, and while it is a small island that isn’t really built-up by hotels, I highly recommend it. Without high-rises or a city center, you are able to thoroughly enjoy internet/cell-phone free beaches (but get some at your resort when you need it), really big waves and fresh mango margaritas. Cozumel is also a popular snorkeling and scuba-diving destination because it is located just off a coral reef.
